이탈리아어로 "신이 내린 가수" 또는 "남성 디바"라는 뜻을 가진 일 디보(lL DIVO)는 미국 데이비드 밀러(테너), 스페인 카를로스 마린(바리톤), 프랑스 세바스티앙 이장바르(테너), 스위스 우르스 뷔흘러(테너) 등 저마다 국적이 다른 네 명의 멤버로 이루어진 팝페라그룹입니다.
네 명의 멤버는 모두 정통 클래식을 공부한 사람들이며, 2004년 첫 발매된 앨범부터 5백만 장이 넘는 대기록을 올렸고 2006년에는 팝페라로는 처음으로 미국 빌보드 차트 1위에도 올랐습니다. 팝페라계 비틀즈로 불리는 이들의 환상적인 하모니를 듣고 있노라면 남성들이어서 가능한 장엄하면서도 숭고한 아름다움이 느껴집니다.
