미국 로스앤젤레스 크립토닷컴 아레나에서 열린 ‘제65회 그래미 어워즈’ 시상식에서 영국 팝스타 샘 스미스(Sam Smith)와 독일 싱어송라이터 킴 페트라스(Kim Petras)가 BTS와 콜드플레이(Coldplay) 등 쟁쟁한 경쟁자를 제치고 최우수 팝 듀오/그룹 퍼포먼스(Best Pop Duo/Group Performance) 부문을 수상했다. 

 

특히 ‘언홀리’는 논바이너리 퍼슨(nonbinary person)(샘 스미스)과 트랜스 퍼슨(trans person)(킴 페트라스)이 함께 부른 곡 중에서 처음 그래미에 노미네이트된 곡이라는 의미를 갖고 있었다. 이와 함께 세계 최대 음원 스트리밍 플랫폼 스포티파이에서만 7억 5,000번 이상 스트리밍 됐을 뿐만 아니라, 국내 최대 음원 플랫폼 멜론 해외 종합 차트 3위를 기록하는 등 상업적인 성공을 거뒀다.
