Down By Sally Gardens는 아일랜드 시인 윌리엄 버틀러 예이츠의 시로, 1889년 출판된 그의 첫 시집인 "The Wanderings of Oisin and Other Poems"에 수록되었습니다. 

이 시는 총 4절로 구성되어 있습니다. 첫 번째 절에서는 시인이 샐리 가든을 찾아가는 장면을 묘사하고 있습니다. 두 번째 절에서는 시인이 샐리 가든에서 사랑하는 사람을 만나는 장면을 묘사하고 있습니다. 세 번째 절에서는 시인이 사랑하는 사람과 함께 행복하게 시간을 보내는 장면을 묘사하고 있습니다. 네 번째 절에서는 시인이 사랑하는 사람과 헤어지는 장면을 묘사하고 있습니다.

이 시는 아일랜드의 민요 "The Moorlough Shore"에 곡이 붙여져 노래로 불리기도 합니다. 이 노래는 아일랜드의 민요 가수인 로레나 맥킨닛, 시네드 오코너, 엔야 등 많은 가수들에 의해 불려졌습니다. 우리나라에 많이 알려진것은 팝페라 가수로 유명한 "임형주"가 부른 뒤입니다.
