▒ [Übermensch]는 G-DRAGON의 세 번째 정규 앨범명으로 영어로 ‘Beyond-Man’, 즉 ‘넘어서는 사람’을 의미한다. G-DRAGON의 예술성이 고스란히 담긴 [Übermensch]는 그 어느 때보다 음악 본연에 충실한 앨범이다. G-DRAGON은 전체 트랙을 프로듀싱하고, 각 트랙의 세부 구성부터 앨범 전체 콘셉트에 이르기까지 모든 과정에 참여하여 앨범 완성도를 높였다. 또한 미국의 싱어송라이터이자 드러머인 Anderson .Paak과 세계적인 기타리스트인 Nile Rodgers 등 G-DRAGON의 곡 작업에 새로움을 더해줄 뮤지션들이 참여했다.
선공개된 ‘HOME SWEET HOME’는 빅뱅의 멤버 태양과 대성의 참여로 팬들에게 특별한 의미를 선사하며 빅뱅 특유의 음악적인 색채를 입힌 곡이다. 향수를 불러오는 힙합 트랙 위로 G-DRAGON 특유의 박자를 자유롭게 활용한 밀도 높은 래핑, 그리고 해석의 재미를 제공하는 독창적인 가사는 이번 ‘HOME SWEET HOME’에서도 빛을 발한다.
