《Thriller》는 1982년 11월 30일 발매된 팝가수 마이클 잭슨의 여섯 번째 음반이다.공식적으로 약 6,600만 장의 판매고를 올리며 현재까지 전 세계에서 가장 많이 팔린 앨범이라는 타이틀을 유지하고 있다. 단순히 문화계를 넘어 전세계의 흑백장벽을 무너뜨린 흑백 크로스오버의 상징이며 음악의 흐름을 바꾼 혁명적인 명반이자 대중음악 역사상 가장 위대한 앨범 중 하나이다.

 

〈Thriller〉는 이 앨범의 타이틀 곡이지만 가장 늦게 싱글컷되어 1983년 11월 12일에 발매되었다. 빌보드에서 4위를 기록했고 영국에서는 10위를 기록했다. 독일에서 9위를 기록했다. 이 곡은 2005년 빌보드 디지털 싱글에서 1위를 했고 2012년에는 2위를 했으며 2009년에 온갖 나라의 차트에 재진입하여 일본 오리콘차트에서 9위를 기록했고, 네덜란드에서도 9위를 기록했다. 2012년 빌보드 Hot RingMasters에서 1위를 기록했다. 2013년에는 빌보드 차트에 재진입하여 42위를 기록했고 2014년에 35위를 기록했지만 2015년에는 45위를 기록했다. 무려 30년전노래가 차트에 진입한 것이다.
