Aselin Debison - Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World [듣기/가사]

1990년 캐나다 태생으로 12살의 어린 나이에 낸 데뷔 앨범 <Sweet is the Melody>에 수록된 곡입니다. 원곡은 주디 갈랜드(Judy Garland)로 영화 <오즈의 마법사>에 출연하여 불렀던 <Over the Rainbow>가 그녀의 대표곡이 되었습니다. 많은 가수들이 각자 특색있게 리메이크했는데, 애슬린 데비슨은 한국과 일본에서 특히 인기를 끌었고 국내의 휴대폰 CF에도 삽입되었습니다. 이 곡의 제목이 "Somewhere over the rainbow"라고도 불리는데, 아마도 노래 가사가 Somewhere~로 시작되기 때문에 그런게 아닐까 추측합니다. 그리고 재즈 가수인 노라 존스(Norah Jones)의 곡으로도 잘못 알고 있기도 합니다. 곡의 제목이 <Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World>인 이유는 <Over the Rainbow>와 루이 암스트롱(Louis Armstrong)이 부른 <What a Wonderful World>을 함께 편곡하였기 때문입니다.
